Day 1 – Arusha → Tarangire National Park → Karatu
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park.
Enjoy a game drive while learning about the park’s ecosystem, wildlife and conservation. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, giraffes, zebras and diverse birdlife.
After the game drive, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 2 – Lake Manyara National Park → Karatu
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning and afternoon game drive.
Students will have the opportunity to observe elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, monkeys and many bird species while learning about the relationship between wildlife, forests, wetlands and the lake ecosystem.
Later, return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Ngorongoro Crater → Airport
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive.
The crater is home to a remarkable variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras and, with luck, rhinos.
Students will learn about the crater’s unique ecosystem, wildlife conservation and the importance of protecting Tanzania’s natural heritage.
After lunch, begin the journey towards the airport for your departure flight.
